With a successful career as a researcher in Materials Science and Physics, Jorge is a sought-after consultant in Higher Education, international research centers, and tech-based companies.
In this role, he often acts as a leadership advisor and trainer of high potentials, executives, and research managers, facilitating both 1-to-1 and team training experiences, effective results, and competence-based coaching, and speaking at international and in-company venues.
As a researcher, he has published over 60 papers in high impact international scientific journals with over 4000 citations in areas as diverse as Semiconductor Physics, Metallic Glasses, Cultural Heritage, Photovoltaics, and Machine Learning.
He has also served as research leader securing funding, being awarded, and leading grant projects over 2 MUSD in total.
He has served as co-founder and CEO in Instituto Arbol Sabio SL, a consulting company devoted to bringing coaching and leadership skills into education, and as Chairman of the Board of Trustees in Inspire Education Foundation, an NGO dedicated to developing and deploy a transformative model in Education based on the science of well-being, neuroscience, and a rich variety of experiences collected by innovative schools around the world.

Jorge has been co-founder and curriculum developer of the innovation and entrepreneurship program of Yachay Tech University, leading and mentoring student teams to become finalists and awardees of the Hult Prize in social entrepreneurship. In this university he was also part of the leadership team as acting dean, strengthening the student leadership development and mentorship program, and lecturing as well in Quantum Physics.
Jorge has been in the consulting business since 2011, after the transition of his wife, combining at times the role of consulting with on-ground hands-on experience as a lecturer, researcher, and innovator in Higher Education organizations.
Jorge enjoys life with his life partner, Olga, and their three children. They reside in Valladolid, Spain, and enjoy adventures together traveling regularly abroad.
